YaM Mechanical Jar

Application

YaM mechanical jar delivers impact forces (both upward & downward) during stuck-related incidents, caused by balling or sticking of drill, casing, tubing pipes, BHA components, stabilizers, mills.

Design

The jar consists of a threefold housing, a rod, an anvil, a retaining screw, sealings.
Three parts of housing are interconnected with a special thread. The jar has box thread at the top.
The jar is available in left- and right-hand configurations.
To fascilitate operation of the fishing tool, it is recommended to install the jar in BHA.
