Application 

URP-2 packer recovery tool, furnished with a junk sub (ShMU), is used to mill out and retrieve hydraulical-set production packers and remove packer cuttings and scrap along the way.

Design

The tool consists of washover shoe, sub, body, extension, nut, retaining screw, catch sleeve, junk sub body (ShMU), junk sub sleeve(ShMU), pin and screw nut.
ShMU body connects drill pipe (upper connection) and sub (lower connection) with tool joint. Installed on ShMU body, a sleeve forms a chamber for collecting chips and debris made while the outside portion of packer has been milled up. The sub has watercourses for circulation. 
The extension is threaded into sub ID, while pipe with washover shoe is made up on the sub OD. The nut with pin and catch sleeve are attached to the lower end of the extension.
